Rakkautta & Anarkiaa

Interstellar Live concert will have its Nordic premiere at Musiikkitalo this autumn, accompanied by the new concert hall organ and a full symphony orchestra! Hans Zimmer’s stunning score will be performed by Vantaa Orchestra and organ virtuoso Roger Sayer, who was personally selected by Zimmer to play the organ elements on the original soundtrack.

The concert is a collaboration between the Vantaa Orchestra and the Love & Anarchy Film Festival. The concert will be the highlight of the festival’s closing weekend!

In Interstellar (2014), directed by Christopher Nolan, former NASA pilot Cooper (Matthew McConaughey) embarks on a dangerous space journey to find a new home for humankind. A team of explorers make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage.

The film received five Academy Award nominations, including one for Zimmer’s magnificent score, whose dreamlike soundscapes carry the viewer through the emptiness and isolation of space. Now you have the unique opportunity to experience this odyssey at Musiikkitalo’s wonderful concert hall!

Tickets go on sale on Wednesday, May 6, at 10 am via Musiikkitalo’s ticket channels.
