Finnish Film Affair (FFA), the industry event of Helsinki International Film Festival – Love & Anarchy association, is looking for a consultant to strengthen our team and build an even more impactful industry event in September 2025. The application deadline is February 11, 2025.
Finnish Film Affair is a unique meeting place for Finnish and international audiovisual professionals, offering decision-makers, financiers, and buyers a valuable opportunity to explore Finnish and Nordic features, TV series, and the audiovisual industry as a whole. The event’s three-day program includes presentations of current productions, sales and consultation meetings, networking events, screenings, and panel discussions. In 2024, FFA welcomed nearly 600 professionals from 25 countries across 4 continents and showcased 50 features, series, and documentaries in progress or development.
We are looking to strengthen our 14th edition of Finnish Film Affair team to build an even more impactful industry event in September 2025.
We will outsource the curation of the event’s guest list. We are looking for someone with expert knowledge of the audiovisual industry and excellent networks especially in the Nordics and Europe.
The main task is to curate and edit the industry guest list to place an emphasis on connections between the Nordic countries that aim to strengthen the international reach of Finnish filmmakers and productions. Whilst compiling the most relevant attendees to the event, the selection of jury members and panel participants should also be considered. (Note: we have a preliminary list).
The position is project-based, with most of the work taking place between February and May 2025, and during the event week in September. The approximate amount of work is 20%. FFA is a not-for-profit event. The chosen consultant will be paid a small consultancy fee.
Application closes on February 11. Please apply through this form.
