Why do I always mess up, and why is telling the truth so hard? Four one-night disasters that turn out not to be so serious after all. These short films were produced as part of the “Youth Short Film Festival” project by Yle, AVEK, and the Church Media Foundation; they are compiled into a series titled fml on Yle Areena.

The screening will feature all the short films, with the filmmakers present at the screening. There will also be a discussion about opportunities for young people to enter the film and media industries. The event will be hosted by actor Anni Iikkanen, host of the Onks noloo? -podcast on Yle Summeri.

After the screening, a media industry meet & greet will be held in the Bio Rex lobby, giving the audience a chance to meet industry professionals and ask them about breaking into the field.

The central question in Emilia tahtoo bailaa is whether everyone at the house party is looking for a hookup. Emilia just wants to party but ends up in a romantic minefield where getting onto the dance floor requires more than she bargained for.
