R&A x Yle Areenan Dokkarifestivaali: Keinaan, mee takas Somaliaan
Keinaan does what some Finns have long wished he would: he goes back to where he came from, even though he has never actually been there. Accompanied by his cinematographer Hamsa, Keinaan travels to Somalia, the homeland of their parents.

“Go back to where you came from!”
Keinaan has never been to Somalia. Even though the Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends avoiding travelling there, he goes with his cinematographer Hamsa to fulfill the wish of some Finnish people and heads to the homeland of their parents.
The Somalia torn by the civil war is remembered mostly from pirates and bombings. However, it’s no longer the same country that Keinaan learned to fear as a child – hope of a better future has awakened.
