The Finnish Surprise Gala will take the prime spot on R&A’s closing Saturday, celebrating the Finnish premiere of a new film by one of the festival’s favorite directors, presented by the director themselves. The film will only be revealed to the gala audience at the venue.
“Even this top talent’s very first short film swept the rug from under our feet and easily justified its place in the festival’s program. We have proudly followed the director’s wonderful career, and it’s absolutely fantastic to have their highly anticipated new film premiere in Finland – and even presented by the director themselves,” comments R&A’s Pekka Lanerva.
