HIFF Audience Award: Orion’s Film of the Month
A new Film of the Month screening format by the National Audiovisual Archive and Orion will be launched together with the Helsinki International Film Festival. The first film for the screening will be chosen by audience vote. The Archive and HIFF have chosen the four nominated films.
The winner of the HIFF Audience Award will see screenings at Orion during October. In the future, the Archive will conduct monthly screenings of films that are not otherwise in distribution in Finland. The Film of the Month project will be continued together with local film festivals. A film from the Espoo Ciné programme will be screened in November.
