The festival artists
The visual identity of this year’s HIFF has been designed by actor-designer Ville Tiihonen. His anarchistic figures can be seen on festival posters and t-shirts as well as the covers of both the festival tabloid and catalogue.
This year’s festival trailer is called VIIMEINEN PISARA. It has been directed by the director of RARE EXPORTS,
HIFF veteran Jalmari Helander. The trailer, starring Tommi Korpela, can be seen in theatres and online at www.hiff.fi.
In addition to the HIFF website, this year’s festival is also present on Facebook (www.facebook.com/helsinkifilmfestival) and Twitter (www.twitter.com/LoveAndAnarchy). A brand new feature is the festival blog (www.rakkauttaanarkiaa.blogspot.com), which offers a look behind the scenes and an abundance of photos. Unfortunately the blog is written in Finnish, but the pictures are worth a look.
