Tickets for the 36th Helsinki International Film Festival – Love & Anarchy are waiting for your purchase! The first day of the ticket sales saw a lot of interest in the festival’s Gala Films.
Four out of six of the 36th HIFF Galas were sold out during the first day of the ticket sales. There are still tickets left for Katja Gauriloff’s Human Rights Gala Film JE’VIDA and to the two screenings of the Finnish Gala film DEATH IS A PROBLEM FOR THE LIVING.
Other sold-out items include some of the screenings of SCRAPPER and SHOWING UP.
Among the favorites of the happy and proud ticket holders are Takeshi Kitano’s new samurai epic KUBI, last year’s Academy Award nominee LIVING, British actor legend Timothy Spall’s THE LAST BUS and Selma Vilhunen’s new film FOUR LITTLE ADULTS.
Other films about to become festival hits are the transgressive erotic thriller FEMME, indie icon Ira Sachs’ newest feature film PASSAGES, the post-apocalyptic scifi animation WHITE PLASTIC SKY, U.S. indie favorite set in the world of indie comics FUNNY PAGES and the Estonian orthodox kung fu monk action comedyTHE INVISIBLE FIGHT.
There will be a chance to claim tickets even for the sold-out gala screenings when a small amount of tickets are released for the public. Follow the HIFF social media to find out when they will be available.
