The Finnish Film Week was organised for the third time between 20th-27th of September.  During the week, organized as part of HIFF,  23 domestic films, which were seen in distribution last year, were screened. At the Closing Gala of the week, the receivers of the annual awards for Finnish film industry professionals were announced. The following professionals received awards at the gala on Thursday night, hosted by actress Mari Perankoski:

Producer of the year: Tero Kaukomaa / Iron Sky
Director of the year: Sakari Kirjavainen / Silence
Screenwriter of the year: Veli-Pekka Hänninen / The Storage
Actor of the year: Joonas Saartamo / Silence
Collegue of the year: Tomi Lakonen
Documentary award: Sari Volanen / Yle
