The Serbian director of CLIP, Maja Milos, arrives in Finland as a HIFF guest next week. Due to the occasion, CLIP will receive an extra screening at Andorra on Friday 21st of September at 2pm. The director will be present at the screening. Check other screenings of CLIP.

CLIP won the Tiger Award at the Rotterdam film festival in February and has raised discussion everywhere where it has been screened during the spring and summer. CLIP is an effective, bold and even disgusting film about Jasna, a teenager who is only interested in sex, partying and in herself. The film plays on the aesthetics of ugliness and crashes through boundaries, adding to the list of interesting new Serbian films.

“Brimming with energy, anger and a sense of youthful frustration, Serbian film Clip will court controversy due to its young teenage cast and sequences of highly explicit sex acts. It is a film that will divide opinion, but it is also one that demands attention.”
