The screening on Sep 25th at 9:30 is mostly for school groups and the ticket office is not open at Orion at that time.
Teddy bears Urpo and Turpo live on a shelf in the nursery. They love to read – reading gives them excellent ideas. Fairy tales cross over into everyday life, and the bears come up with magnificent adventures. Urpo and Turpo are, for instance, saved by a bread tree on a deserted island. They also candidly enhance others’ looks, look for clues, defy the rules, long for quiet and compete in being the best and strongest bears in the world.
Urpo and Turpo come to life when nobody is there to witness it, just like the toys in Toy Story. This classic film is based on Hannele Huovi’s popular storybooks, and it has been restored and lives now in bolder colours than ever. The Urpo and Turpo film entertains both adults and children.
Director Liisa Helminen and author Hannele Huovi will be present at the screening on 30 September at Korjaamo Kino Elokuvasali at 14.15.
